Our History

Founded on September 2nd, 1996, Intercontinental School was first named as Continental, which was located at colony Miramontes in the city of Tegucigalpa. Early owners, decided one day to close the school on May 1996, which had 450 students at the time, in all its grades, which didn´t get any warning about the closures, with no time to enroll in other institution, to continue their studies. Immediately, a group of parents, worried about their son´s education, established a meeting and planned what we now know is "Intercontinental School"! Just in two months, they searched for a new location, and academic books to begin the school, and here we are, 20 years from that!
